Time to solar charge… It may not be barbecue weather here, but we found the most American diner in town celebrating in style. They were going all out with balloons and flags and the whole staff of teenagers in costume (including Wonder Woman). We slid into a booth for our milkshakes and burgers with yellow mustard and pickles and [...] Thanks to Lizzy’s official birthday we had a long weekend and decided to go see a little bit of Australia while we could. We’ve been wanting to get over to the Grampians mountain range and national park for a while, so we rented a car (which turned out to be the lovely color of a [...] You’ve probably heard about all the crazy weather happening all over Australia this summer. This year we spent the afternoon and evening with a great mix of Dubliners and Americans and our one English representative. Carol and Nat cooked an amazing meal complete with ham and turkey, potatoes, veggies, and generally a lot of [...] We are having record amounts of rain here in Melbourne at the moment. But, on Wednesday when I got a text from a friend offering a ticket to see Jack Johnson at the outdoor amphitheater in the park, I didn’t care that it was raining cats and dogs. It ended up raining as much as it [...] |
